Toni Montalbán, head chef at La Costa Beach & Golf Resort and chef at the Aquamare restaurant, has a long professional career of 34 years behind the stove. In 1984, when he was only 16 years old, he began his adventure at the Montserrat Can Salvi restaurant as a kitchen assistant. Since then, he fell in love with the profession and made it his lifestyle: evolving, working and training with traditional and signature cuisine, learning from the best every day. A life full of satisfaction and pride in the profession.
More than 20 years’ broad experience in hostelry. He has enjoyed work stays at Restaurant Drolma and in several hotels in England where he extended his knowledge and experience in dining room service as well as mastering the language, which has enabled him to grow and improve. He is currently working as the Dining Room Manager at La Costa Golf & Beach Resort, where he has been for more than 15 years.
